THE STORY of LANGDON COURT traces the history of the house and the people who lived and worked in it. Now a delightful country hotel its origins lie in Saxon times. Many owners have made their changes and modifications but the house we see to day is essentially that of 1707. Through interviews with relatives, friends, owners and staff the reader is led into the life and times of the people who owned or worked at Langdon Court, as well as into areas of the house not normally seen by the public.
